 VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - QUINCY AVENUE CONSTRUCTION
Coming from Wadsworth Boulevard:  Quincy Avenue is closed to east bound traffic at
South Pierce Way. The detour will direct all eastbound traffic north to the Hampden
frontage road, then to Sheridan. During construction, all access to the Club will be on
Quincy Avenue from Sheridan Boulevard. Thank you!

SEE is an advanced course designed to help our older students recognize that how they act is not only a reflection on their character but also a demonstration of their education and leadership abilities. The purpose of SEE is to offer students the opportunity to develop life skills that go beyond the core academics they learn in school. SEE challenges students to recognize that wherever they go, whatever they do, and whoever they meet – their social skills are essential for their well-being and success. Subjects include: First Impressions that Last a Lifetime, Verbal, Non-verbal & Electronic Communication, Appearance & Dress, Character & Ethics, Dining Etiquette & Table Manners. For further information – go to SEE on our navigation menu.

In addition, the advanced social dance education will include the jitterbug, swing and Latin dances.
 
Classes are progressive from year to year. New students beginning their first year will find it easy to adapt to the program. Extra help is always available.

 All classes will be at Pinehurst Country Club, 6255 West Quincy Avenue

All classes have dance instruction.

Registration:  The registration fee is $210 per student. Registration will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly encourage you to register early as class size is limited. There will be no refunds with the exception of extraordinary circumstances.

Dress Requirement for all classes and parties is as follows. Ladies are required to wear appropriate dresses or dressy blouses and skirts that are no more than two inches above the knee. It is strongly recommended that young ladies do not wear strapless dresses. Gentlemen are required to wear traditional suits or sports coat and tie. Both ladies and gentlemen should wear dress shoes appropriate for dancing (no sneakers, flip-flops or backless shoes). 

Parents:  Photographing or video taping of students is not allowed during any class with the exception of the Dinner Dance. JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately and cooperate with our no alcohol policy.
