Pinehurst Cotillion 4th - 5th Grades

 VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - QUINCY AVENUE CONSTRUCTION
Coming from Wadsworth Boulevard:  Quincy Avenue is closed to east bound traffic at
South Pierce Way. The detour will direct all eastbound traffic north to the Hampden
frontage road, then to Sheridan. During construction, all access to the Club will be on
Quincy Avenue from Sheridan Boulevard. Thank you!

Club Cotillion is designed to reinforce social skills and demonstrate how they contribute to character and are essential for developing positive relationships. Subject matter includes: First Impressions, Introductions, Posture & Body Language, Communication, and Table Etiquette & Table Manners. In addition, students are introduced to advanced patterns in traditional dances (the fox trot and waltz), contemporary dances (swing hustle and line dances) and will begin training in Latin dances including cha-cha, merengue and tango. 
 
Classes are progressive from year to year. New students beginning their first year will find it easy to adapt to the program. Extra help is always available.

 All classes are at Pinehurst Country Club, 6255 West Quincy Avenue

Registration Fee - The registration fee for the cotillion program is $180 per student. We highly encourage you to make your reservation early because classes are limited and based on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of extradordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.

Class Attire - very important - All girls are required to wear party dresses or dress skirts and blouses, flats or low heels and white gloves. It is strongly recommended that young ladies do not wear strapless dresses. Boys are required to wear traditional suits or sport coats, ties and black or brown dress shoes. Please adhere to the dress code to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment.

Parents are cordially invited to view any of the classes and encouraged to attend and participate in the Final Party. Photographing or video taping of students is not allowed during any of the classes with the exception of the Final Party. JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately.

Pinehurst Country Club requests that students arrive punctually and be called for immediately after class. JDW Cotillions and Pinehurst Country Club are not responsible for children before or after class. Scheduling changes may occur due to unexpected circumstances.
