18^th Annual Wayzata Club Cotillion 6th - 8th Grades

Class Meets: Sundays 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Club Cotillion is designed to demonstrate how good social skills contribute to character and are essential for developing positive relationships. Subject matter includes: First Impressions, Introductions, Posture & Body Language, Communication, and Table Etiquette & Table Manners. In addition, students are introduced to advanced variations in traditional dances (fox trot and waltz), contemporary dances (swing hustle and line dances) and will begin training in Latin dances including cha cha, merengue and tango. 

Classes are progressive from year to year. New students beginning their first year will find it easy to adapt to the program. Extra help is always available.

Online registration begins at 7:00 AM February 23, 2012

All classes are held at the Wayzata Country Club
200 West Wayzata Boulevard

* May 20th - Parents are invited to attend after 7:15 pm.

Registration:  The registration fee for the cotillion is $225 per student. We highly encourage you to register early because class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of extraordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.

Class Attire  - Very Important: Young ladies are required to wear dresses or dress skirts and blouses, hosiery or tights and flats or low heels. Young gentlemen are required to wear traditional suits or sport coats, ties and black or brown dress shoes. To avoid any unnecessary embarrassment, the dress codes are stritctly observed.

Parents: Parents are cordially invited to view any of the classes and encouraged to attend and participate in the Final Party. Photographing or videotaping of students is not allowed with the exception of the Final Party. The JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately.

The Wayzata Country Club is offering menu service to all participants with their parents from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.  Reservations accepted at 952-473-8846.
