18^th Annual Wayzata Cotillion 4th - 5th Grades

Class Meets: Sundays 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

 

Cotillion is the foundation for learning important social skills and social dance. The social skills education will focus on learning the essentials of Introductions, Common Courtesy & Respect  and Table Etiquette & Table Manners. The dance education features traditional, contemporary and group dances including fox trot, waltz, bachata, swing hustle, and folk dances. 
 
Classes are progressive from year to year. New students beginning their first year will find it easy to adapt to the program. Extra help is always available.

Online registration begins at 7:00 AM February 23, 2012

All classes are held at the Wayzata Country Club

Registration: The registration fee for the cotillion is $195 per student. We highly encourage you to register early because class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of extraordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.

Class Attire - Very Important: Young ladies are required to wear dresses or dress skirts and blouses, hosiery or tights, flats or low heels and white gloves. Young gentlemen are required to wear traditional suits or sport coats, ties and black or brown dress shoes. To avoid any unnecessary embarrassment, the dress codes are strictly observed.

Parents: Parents are cordially invited to view any of the classes and encouraged to attend and participate in the Final Party. Photographing or videotaping of students is not allowed with the exception of the Final Party. The JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately.

The Wayzata Country Club is offering menu service to all participants with their parents from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.  Reservations accepted at 952-473-8846.
