17th Annual Delta Cotillion 5th Grade
Class Meets: Fridays, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Cotillion is the foundation for learning important social skills through dance. Classes provide a safe and fun environment in which students become confident and comfortable in social situations. Refining and practicing good manners, at this influential age, offers rewards that will benefit children throughout their lives.
Curriculum includes: Introduction to Social Skills, Meeting New Friends, First Impressions, Respect & Consideration, Everyday Courtesies and Table Manners.
Dances include fox trot, bachata, swing hustle and folk dances.
Classes are progressive from year to year and instructors work with students based on their individual skill level and needs. New students at any level will find it easy to adapt and extra help is always available.
Online registration begins November 9, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. CST
All classes are held at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity,
400 Howard Street, Greenwood. All classes have dance instruction.

Registration Fee: The registration fee for all five classes is $185 per student. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to register early as class size is limited. With the exception of extraordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.
Class Attire - Very Important: Young ladies are required to wear dresses or dress skirts (no more than 2" above the crease of the knee) and blouses appropriate for dancing, flats or low heels and short white gloves. NO pants, leggings, bare shoulders or spaghetti straps. If you have a dress with thin straps, just wear a sweater or jacket over the dress. Sleeveless is fine. Young gentlemen are required to wear sport coats or suits, ties, and dress shoes suitable for dancing. To avoid any unnecessary embarrassment, please adhere to the dress code.
Parents: Parents are cordially invited to view any of the classes and encouraged to participate in the Final Party. Photographing or video taping students is not allowed during any class with the exception of the Final Party. JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately and cooperate with our no alcohol policy.
