21^st Annual Fort Collins Cotillion 4th - 5th Grades

Class Meets: Sundays 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Club Cotillion builds upon students' basic understanding of the social skills that contribute to character, improve communication and develop successful relationships. Developing a sense of social awareness in this interactive atmosphere allows students to apply their knowledge in everyday life.

Curriculum includes:  The Power of Social Skills, Meeting New People & Making Friends, Conversation Skills, Demonstrating Courtesy & Respect, Cell Phone Savvy and Dining Etiquette & Table Manners. 

Dances include basic and intermediate patterns of the fox trot, waltz and swing hustle plus an introduction tocha cha, merengue and tango.

Classes are progressive from year to year and instructors work with students based on their individual skill level and needs. New students at any level will find it easy to adapt and extra help is always available.

All classes are held at the Fort Collins Country Club,
1920 Country Club Road.
All classes have dance instruction.

Registration - the registration fee is $180 per student. We highly encourage you to register early because classes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of extraordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.

Class Attire - Very Important - Girls are required to wear party dresses or dress skirts and blouses, flats or low heels and white gloves. It is strongly recommended that young ladies do not wear strapless dresses.Boys are required to wear traditional suits or sport coats, ties and black or brown dress shoes.

Parents are cordially invited to quietly observe any of the classes. We encourage parents to attend and participate in the Final Party. Photographing or video taping of students is not allowed during any class with the exception of the Final Party. JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents observing classes dress appropriately and understand that no alcohol may be consumed in the class area. The Fort Collins Country Club has a "no jeans" dress code.
