Denver Country Club Cotillion 6th Grade
Class Meets: Tuesdays 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Club Cotillion builds upon students' basic understanding of the social skills that contribute to character, improve communication and develop successful relationships. Developing a sense of social awareness in this interactive atmosphere allows students to apply their knowledge in everyday life.
Curriculum includes: The Power of Social Skills, Meeting New People & Making Friends, Conversation Skills, Demonstrating Courtesy & Respect, Cell Phone Savvy and Dining Etiquette & Table Manners.
Dances include basic and intermediate patterns of the fox trot, waltz and swing hustle plus an introduction to cha cha, merengue and tango.
Classes are progressive from year to year and instructors work with students based on their individual skill level and needs. New students at any level will find it easy to adapt and extra help is always available.
Online registration will open September 8, 2011 at 7:00 AM.
Limited spaces are available.
All classes are held at Denver Country Club, 1700 East 1st Avenue.
All classes have dance instruction.

Registration Fee - The registration fee for the cotillion program is $215 per student. We highly encourage you to make your reservation early because classes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-servedbasis. With the exception of extraordinary circumstances, there will be no refunds.
Class Attire - very important - All girls are required to wear party dresses or dress skirts and blouses, flats or low heels and white gloves. Boys are required to wear traditional suits or sport coats, ties and black or brown dress shoes. Please adhere to the dress code to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment.
Parents are cordially invited to attend and participate in the Final Party from 8:15 - 9:00 PM. Due to space limitations, we regret that we cannot accommodate parents on any other class night. Photographing or video taping of students is allowed at the Final Party. JDW Cotillions respectfully requests that parents attending the Final Party dress appropriately. Jacket and tie for the gentlemen and dress or skirt for the ladies.

The Denver Country Club requests that students arrive punctually and be called for immediately after class. JDW Cotillions and the Denver Country Club are not responsible for children before or after class. Scheduling changes may occur due to unexpected circumstances.
