How to Establish a Cotillion

Participating in JDW Social Education Programs™, Cotillion or SEE Survival Etiquette Essentials, is an educational investment that builds a strong foundation for developing positive relationships that will last a lifetime. We are confident that your involvement in establishing a JDW program will be very rewarding to you, beneficial to your children, and become a lasting tradition in your community.

There are two models for establishing JDW Social Education Programs™: (1) By Contract where JDW instructors are hired to instruct programs, or (2) By JDW Committeewhere a group of interested parents or organizations develop a program for their community.

If you are interested in establishing a JDW program, please contact us at info@cotillion.com or call our office at 303-757-5333.

Who participates and benefits?

JDW currently conducts social education programs for students ages 8 through 18 all across the United States. Students, their parents, their school communities and society all benefit from enhanced social education.

Who develops programs and where are programs held?

JDW programs are developed by our company and have been designed for the following:

  • business sponsored organizations: for the youth in their communities

What is the traditional class format?

In addition to creating custom programs, JDW currently offers two standard training formats that have proven to be successful.  In order to move ahead with one of these programs, we typically ask for a mnimum commitment of at least 100 students.

  • five 1 ½ hour classes: traditional series classes held weekly, every other week or once a month
  • four 1 ¾ hour classes: this condensed version extends class time to achieve the same results - weekly, every other week or once a month

Are there other training formats?

We are happy to consider other training formats to meet your needs and expectations.  Other training formats include:
•  one time, one day or two day private group:  one-to-one or 100-to-one; you choose how many participate, specific topics of focus and length of training, daytime, evening or weekend
•  summer camp or workshop:  consider JDW staff as coaches for the game of life
•  private lunch or dinner:  sit face-to-face with a JDW staff member for a hands-on meal with social skills, dining etiquette and table mannters

Who organizes and manages the program?

JDW organizes and manages all non-contract style programs which includes: meeting with individuals or committees to design the program; supplying organizational guides; fulfilling invitation and registration processing; accounting; and developing and distributing all advertising, promotion and PR materials.

What are the Committee responsibilities?

What will it personally cost me to establish a JDW Social Education Program?

Absolutely nothing! JDW pays for all expenses associated with their programs – with the exception of the By Contract format (where JDW instructors are hired only to teach.)

What are the registration fees for students?
